Red Cliff Map

This is a Tolkien-esque map of the Red Cliff Ascent field where I work. It highlights some major points of interest and landmarks. I used an actual topographical map of the area as reference. Made with ink on watercolor paper dyed with chai tea. (It smells good)

I've been re-thinking the environments for an animation project thats been on the back burner for a while now.

Bulbasaur and Kikwi

Been wanting to do some fan art of Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for a while now. Out of all the new races introduced in the new game, the Kikwi are definitely my favorite. Here, Machi the Kikwi meets my favorite pokemon, Bulbasaur.

Trollhunter

I recently watched the Norwegian movie, Trollhunter. It was surprisingly amazing! Definitely worth checking out. Heres a troll hunter inspired digital painting.

Breakdown:

0:04- 0:14 3d creature animation. I was responsible for the flea's movements. In the second shot, I animated the main flea character.
0:15- 0:28 A couple sequences from my thesis film. I created all visual elements for these 2 shots including character animation, bird animation and background illustration.
0:29- 0:34 2d digital character animation. Created visual elements of this piece
0:35- 0:37 traditional animation and effects animation.
0:38- 0:41 walk cycle
